With respect to the decision of the Chief Executive in Council on 28 March 2017 to discontinue the Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) services in Hong Kong, the DAB services provided by RTHK will be terminated with effect from 12 midnight of 3 September 2017 accordingly.  In this connection, RTHK will make new programming arrangement from 00:00 of 4 September 2017, to continue catering for the underprivileged, ethnic minorities and different communities.  Details of programmes reshuffle are as follows:

1.  “Community Involvement Broadcasting Service” Programmes are broadcast every Monday to Friday  from 8:00pm to 10:00pm and every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00pm to 11:00pm on RTHK Putonghua Channel;

2.  “Audio Book” (Putonghua Version) is broadcast every Monday to Friday from 10:00pm to 11:00pm on RTHK Putonghua Channel;

3.  “Audio Book” (Cantonese Version) is broadcast every Monday from 2:00am to 4:00am, every Tuesday to Friday from 2:30am to 4:00am and every Saturday from 2:30am to 6:00am on RTHK Radio 1;

4.  “Sound of Nature” will be broadcast every Monday to Friday from 4:00am to 5:00am on RTHK Radio 1;

5.  “Audio Art” will be broadcast on the first Sunday of every month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on RTHK Radio 5;

6.  “BBC World Service” will be relayed daily from 11:00pm to 7:00am on RTHK Radio 4;

7.  “China National Radio Hong Kong Edition” will be relayed on RTHK Radio 6; and

8.  RTHK TV32, RTHK website (tv.rthk.hk) and mobile application “RTHK Screen” will continue to relay Legislative Council meetings.
